Once upon a time

One day there was a rain drop that fell onto a puddle
It immediately felt sad and invisible, unrecognizable
The little drop is forgotten, though many little feet run through the puddle

what’s left of it, car tires run over

the little drop
flown to a field, finds a home upon a blade of grass

there he shone, gleaming

a drop once more, with boundaries and shape,
noticed once again, by a simple ant who lived close by.
